1.BUS INTERCHANGE (Shudehill) From Shudehill bus interchange and METRO. You need to walk in the opposite direction of the Printworks which is situated on Dantzic St, walk towards the CIS tower which is on your right, crossing over a very busy road called Miller St. and Dantzic St. reconnects on the other side with car parks on your right and left hand side. The Ragged School can be seen in the distance by the railway bridge. If exiting from the bus interchange terminus at the opposite end, turn left onto Shudehill (walking in the opposite direction of the Arndale centre and the Printworks.) You walk past the Crowne Plaza hotel on your right and eventually come to a major crossroads junction. Walk across the pelican crossing onto the other side and turn left down Miller St. walking towards Victoria Station for about 200 yards, the CIS tower is on your left. Turn right onto Dantzic street and follow the road for about 400 yards and the old Ragged School can be seen in the distance before the railway bridge, with surrounding car parks. 2.TRAIN: (Victoria Station)
Exit station walking towards the CIS tower (NOT towards Manchester Cathedral or M.E.N. arena) crossing over Corporation St., and Miller St. If you look to your left you will see a public house called THE DUCIE BRIDGE on the corner, walk down Corporation St and you will pass another pub the Crown & Cushion on the corner and take your first right onto Aspin Lane. If you take your next left the Ragged school can be seen in the distance. Alternatively from Victoria Station (maybe due to bad lighting and interests of saftey) carry on walking down Miller St. for 250 yards passing advertisement bollards on your left and the CIS tower on your right and turn left down Dantzic street just before the pelican crossing. Follow the road for about 400 yards and the old Ragged School can be seen in the distance before the railway bridge, with surrounding car parks.

4.CAR: (Motorway via the Mancuinian way and from North of City centre) the best approach is to come via Great Ancoats Street which then becomes Swan st., past the old black Art Deco Daily Express building on your right and head towards Victoria station and the CIS tower on your left hand side. Keep in the right hand lane but keep straight ahead and just in front of the CIS tower turn right after the pelican crossing in a small filter lane which takes you onto Dantzic street. (Alternatively turn right onto Corporation st. at the next set of lights and right again and then left.) The Ragged school is on your right before the railway bridge. Via Cheetham Hill and Salford approach, aim past the M.E.N. arena and Victoria station on your right, keep in the left hand lane following the road round towards the CIS tower on your right hand side. 5.PARKING Free car parking space is available around the Ragged School from 6pm. (Please also ensure you leave no valuables visible in your car.)
